If college football is so popular, where are the fans?

This is an easy one: The geniuses at the NCAA moved the cool, fun bowl games off of January 1st, in order to spread them around and get more TV eyeballs. They also broke up the established conference rivalry games and instituted the silly Bowl Championship series and the new mini-playoff, all of which lessen the fun and buzz of bowl season.
