High Court Allows NJ Senate Sleight of Hand

The U.S. Supreme Court today declined to hear the case regarding the Democratic candidate swap in the New Jersey Senate rate. Read about in on Yahoo.com.

One presumes the black eye many perceive the Court to have received over ending Al Gore’s perpetual re-count strategy two years ago to have been a factor in this decision. Can we expect more candidate switcheroos in the future? The Supreme Court seems to think that it is just fine to do that, state laws or no.
